And that's chapter two. The miasma streams and monsters were always a thing that stuck in my mind for all FF:CC games, even though past the first game they are not a focus just a ploy...But since Layle can close them while others just ran, I thought that was pretty unique trait. But Layle is unique sort of guy, eh?


This is a story I've actually been writing for a while. And its uploaded onto Fanfiction.net as well. Though the version I am uploading here is tweaked here and there, and much cleaner.

I took few liberties with canon here and there, but the story itself is set before the events of the game.
